DVV International concluded a specialized workshop entitled “Tafakur Approach: Training Community Ambassadors” in the Dead Sea region from April 19 to 21, 2026.
Several volunteers from various regions, working with our local partners, participated in the workshop and were trained to become “Ambassadors of Reflection Approaches” within their communities.
The workshop focused on training using the DUNE curriculum and Tafakur approach. The training was conducted by facilitators who have practical experience in applying the Tafakur approach. All of them are members of Community of Practice that was established by DVV International to continuously develop the Tafakur approach for Learning Based on Daily Urgent Needs (DUNE).
This workshop comes within the framework of the vision of DVV International, which aims to prepare a network of qualified ambassadors to promote dialogue-based adult education approaches, and to enable them to employ these approaches in working with their communities.
