Lifelong learning is a continuous process that accompanies individuals throughout all stages of life, with each stage having its own needs and circumstances. This means that rights issues are diverse and will change according to the different stages and contexts. Lifelong learning and human rights must work in tandem to effect positive change. To achieve this, advocating for a new social contract for education, development, and human rights is essential.

Case study of European Training Foundation shows positive impacts of learning approaches namely “Tafakur” in Jordan. The ETF studied the learning practice within the framework of its partnership for innovation in adult learning and education initiative (PIALE) and developed the case studies to support peer learning.

This study was prepared at the request of DVV International, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. It was designed to conduct in-depth analyses of the reality of adult education in Jordan in order to map institutions, services, and programs.
