As part of the preparations for the International Conference on Adult Education, CONFINTEA VII, which will take place in Morocco in June 2022, the Arab House for Adult Education and Development (AHAED) initiated an exchange among members of four Arab education networks: the Arab Network for Literacy and Adult Education (ANLAE), Arab Network for Popular Education (ANPE), Arab Network for Civic Education (ANHRE) and Arab Campaign for Education for All (ACEA).
The aim of the exchange was for the representatives of civil society to formulate a common position with respect to CONFINTEA VII. In several online meetings, the challenges as well as the goals and recommendations for further developments in the field of adult education were discussed and summarised in a policy paper.
